After School Programs

P.L.A.Y. is working with the community schools in School District 42 to provide after school programs this winter.
We offer a variety of performing arts classes including drama, improv, musical theatre, mask and more all taught by local professionals. Please contact your community school manager for registration.

Stay tuned as Maple Ridge may be able to host summer camps this year. More information coming soon.

(2 week) 13 THE MUSICAL Summer Camp Ages 13+


After his parents' divorce, Evan moves from NYC to small-town Indiana. As his 13th birthday nears, he must master the complex social circles of his new school and win friends by turning his Bar Mitzvah into the coolest party ever. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

July 8th - 12th AND July 15th - 20th
Monday to Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm (Saturday the 20th 9:30am - 1:30pm)

(1 week) Frozen 2 Summer Camp Ages 7-12

Elsa has an extraordinary gift, yet she continues to search for meaning and answers to why she has her powers. After hearing a mysterious voice calling out to her, Elsa travels to the dark forest and beyond the sea. She soon finds herself in trouble and needing the help of family and friends. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

(1 week) Inside Out Summer Camp Ages 7-12

Riley is a happy hockey-loving Midwestern girl, but that all changes when she moves to San Francisco. Riley's emotions try to guide her through this difficult time. It's not an easy road as Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger all try to help at once. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

July 15th - 19th

(2 week) Mean Girls Summer Camp Ages 13+


New student Cady Heron gets welcomed into the top of the social food chain by an elite group of popular girls called the Plastics, ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George. However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina's ex-boyfriend, she soon finds herself caught in their crosshairs. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

August 12th - 16th AND August 19th - 24th

(1 week) Harry Potter Summer Camp Ages 7-12

The boy who lived. Harry Potter is the most famous person in the world and he has no idea why. On Harry's 11 birthday he learns that he is a wizard and will attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Along the way, he meets new friends, new enemies and learns a bit more about his past. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

August 12th - 16th

(1 week) Shrek Summer Camp Ages 7-12

Once upon a time in a swamp far far away there lived an ogre that loved to eat and fart and swim in mud. Until one day the evil Lord Farquaad sent all the fairy tale creatures to his land. The only way to get his swamp back is to save the princess, make some friends and live happily ever after. Students in this camp will learn acting and drama techniques while rehearsing a performance for their friends and family on the last day of camp.

August 19th - 23rd
